2. Explanation of project
In this project we built parts of a truss out of balsa wood by looking at a sketch. We then glued the pieces together and tested how much force the trusses could hold in Newton's.

A-Explain why you think failure occurred at the truss member where it did. Did your truss fail at the member that your calculations revealed as undergoing the most stress?- I think the truss failed at where it did because where we put the force their was little support that could hold the truss up. The truss did fail at where the calculation showed where their was the most stress, which was the top.
B-If given a chance to redesign your truss after testing, what changes would you make? - I first would definitely give the truss more support by adding support beams to the triangle piece. Also I would use better glue so the pieces would break at the joints of the truss.
