Project Introduction
I have chosen to investigate recycled water bottles or plastic in general. I have chosen this because every water bottle I drink now it says the bottle has been used by recycled plastic.
Timeline
Raise and Extract- Oil is extracted from the earth using oil mines. The oil is then transported by trucks to factors.
Process- The oil is then processed in the factories by the factories cleaning the oil and then the oil is made into plastic pellets. The pellets then are heated and are formed into a bottle shape. Then finally the most important part the bottles are filled with water.
Manufacture- The water bottles then are shipped by trucks to your local covenant stores for purchase to the local people.
Use- Then people go to these local covenant stores to buy water bottles for sporting event, vacations, just plain drinking, ex.
Dispose- After the people use the water bottles they are then mostly thrown away and will end up in landfills, but some are recycled.

Some ways water bottles are reused or recycled are pictured below. The first picture is showing how water bottles, instead of being in a pile a trash, are used for very cool art sculptures. The second picture shows how one simple water bottle can be turned into a sprinkler to water a garden or could be used on a hot summer day to cool off. Just think a average sprinkler costs 15 dollars but one simple water bottle costs 1 dollar and 50 cents.

Conclusion Questions
a. Product lifecycle is where it describes how the product is first made to how the product is disposed in steps.
b. It is important for companies who make products to research about a products lifecycle because if the products lifecycle is bad for the environment then the company can be shut down or if the people find out how bad the product is for the environment they will stop buying the product and the company will run out of business and shut down.
c. If I would change the water bottle, instead of plastic I would make it out of a material that decomposes when the bottle is laying in the landfill. I would do this because instead of plastic chocking animals, the material would decompose and not hurt the environment.
d. I think that water bottles will evolve and become absolute because the way technology is evolving now a days anything is possible.
e. A trade off Is like a compromise, like for example a water bottle hurting the environment and then turning a used water bottle into something people can use is a trade off.
f. I think that trade offs where made after the product has been released to the world and that the disposal of the product hurts the environment.
g. It is important to recycle because so that the earth we live on can provide life and so that It can keep life on this planet.
h. Product designers play a big role in recycling because if the product designers realized what role their product played in hurting the environment and realized that they shouldn't make this product we wouldn't need to recycle.
I. Society plays a big role in recycling because if nobody wanted to recycle the earth would become a big trash pile.
j. I can start to recycle myself so that I can help save the earth from becoming a trash pile, even one person can help save the earth a little bit.
